Aligarh is the story of a 64 year old professor of Aligarh University
named Siras and he teaches Marathi. Manoj Bajpai plays the role of siras who
interested in homosexual acts.
His colleagues caught and expose him while he
doing sex with another man. Then he suspended from university.
The film was a clean message regarding to the current issues
in the society which are faced by many homosexual and gays.

This film not to dishonour
those people, the main purpose of film is to show that university professor in
the university with his own efforts.
He achieved honourable milestones in his
career, but they have dishonoured with the single word homo-sexual.
