Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with finger print scanner and metal body, will be launched in India soon

Chinese company Xiaomi launched a budget phablet, The Redmi Note 3 in November last year in China.

Now The Company has announced to launch this smartphone in India.

Xiaomi has revelled on microblogging site Twitter that The Redmi Note 3 is coming in India soon.

Though the company hasn't said any word about launch date and the price.

The Company has launched a Snapdragon processor-powered new variant of the phone in China.



The new Redmi Note 3 variant comes with-[RMB 999 (Rs. 10,150)]
  • 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor
  • An upgraded 16MP primary camera (as compared to 13MP on MediaTek edition)
  • While the rest of its specs remains the same

The MediaTek-powered device comes in 2 models -  
  • 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage[CNY 899 (Rs. 9,500)]
  • 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage 

And the other specs include –
  • 5MP selfie camera
  • A beefy 4,050mAh battery with quick charge 2.0 technology
  • 4G LTE with VoLTE

“It appears that the brand will be launching the Snapdragon 650-powered variant of the device in the Country, since it’s not allowed to sell MediaTek-powered variant devices here due to a patent infringement suit filed by Ericsson”.
