Gionee S6 with 3GB of RAM and USB Type-C port launched in India at Rs 19,999

The phone was unveiled in China first as the Elife S6 in November last year.

The S6 sports a sleek profile, which measures 6.9mm at its thickest point and 4mm at its slimmest point.

The phone’s specs are following:

1. It has 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3
2. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI on top.
3. The phone is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor.
4. It comes with 3GB of RAM and a Mali-T720 GPU.
5. Its storage capacity is 32GB, which can be further increased up to 128GB via a microSD card.
6. For imaging, the Gionee S6 features a 13MP primary snapper with an LED flash and a 5MP secondary shooter for selfies.
7. In term of connectivity, it offers a USB type-C port, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and A-GPS.
8. A big 3,150 battery keeps the phone running.

The Gionee S6 has been listed on the company’s website as ‘coming soon’, but is available on Flipkart and IndiaTimes for Rs 19,999 and Rs 19,500 respectively.

It is being offered in Gold, Rose Gold and Silver editions.
